Wanting another quick finish, I went ahead and made a boy version of the Fun and Feminine quilt.
These charms came from the same box of fabric in my stash which is turning out to be one of my best fabric finds!
Precuts make piecing a breeze. I will say though that I'm learning the importance of precise cutting. Not all the squares in either of these quilts were an exact 5x5. It is much more difficult to get things to line up when they aren't. It is also difficult to get an accurate 1/4" seam when there are wonky edges on both pieces you are sewing. I didn't feel like trimming every square though since I was going for something fast.
